CapSpecialty is seeking a Citrix Systems Engineer to lead in the design, build and administration of our enterprise Citrix environment. This individual will be part of a dynamic team that provides support for Server Hardware, Operating Systems (mixed Linux and Windows), Storage Area Networks, VMWare, Active Directory, Exchange, Samba, WebSphere, Tomcat, Apache, IIS, Switches, Routers and Disaster Recovery.

Education & Experience

  • 5+ years in design, build and administration of Citrix XenApp and XenDesktop
  • 5+ years administering Active Directory Group Policy
  • Ability to administer a mixed Linux and Windows Server enterprise environment
  • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and solve complex infrastructure requests and issues
  • Strong communication skills required for working on project teams, with end users and for documentation
  • Ability to complete projects alone or as part of a project a team
  • Can Participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation

Legal, Compliance and Regulatory Analyst

CapSpecialty® is seeking a Legal, Compliance and Regulatory Analyst in their Glastonbury, CT or Middleton, WI office. This position will assist with the development and maintenance of Company compliance initiatives and assist with researching various regulatory and legal matters.

Principal Job Duties include:

  • Assist with developing and maintaining corporate compliance program, including maintaining policies and procedures, conducting effective training programs, responding to detected compliance violations, and developing corrective action plans.
  • Track and assess new and emerging legislation for the impact on the Company’s business, review business and industry trends to identify existing or emerging compliance issues, and assist with research of laws and regulations.
  • Assist with agent and agency changes to ensure compliance with company policies and industry licensing regulations, and assist with the administration of agent/agency contracting.
  • Ensure compliance with reporting requirements of the various state departments of insurance.
  • Administer Insurance Department Complaint process, to include performing the initial complaint review, assigning to proper department, checking responses for completeness and coordination of timely response.
  • Assist with various Legal, Compliance and Regulatory projects.

Successful candidates will have:

  • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent
  • 3-5 years of compliance or legal-related work preferred.
  • Paralegal certification a plus.
  • General familiarity with insurance laws and regulations preferred.
  • Effective written and oral communication skills with the ability to interact well with internal and external resources at all levels.
  • Skills with using personal computers, the internet and multiple software programs.

As the sole events role on the team, this position is responsible for owning and overseeing the conceptualization, coordination and execution of all events and exhibits for CapSpecialty and Professional Risk Management Services, Inc.® (PRMS).

Principal Job Duties

  • Oversee and administer PRMS event, exhibit and seminar logistics. Including: registration for PRMS staff; manage exhibit material (shipping/receiving and inventory); manage information, details and deliverables in online exhibit management system; create pre-meeting confirmations to staff; post-event follow up; reconcile event payments to ensure PRMS receives all contracted benefits from participation; research and select venues and serve as point of contact as appropriate.
  • Manage the coordination of CapSpecialty’s events and facilitate sponsorships of industry events. Includes: contract negotiations; budget tracking; venue sourcing; assisting with travel accommodations as needed; menu selections; curation and delivery of CapSpecialty signage/collateral.
  • Work with the Client Relations Specialist to provide deliverables for and coordinate fulfillment of partnerships as they relate to PRMS exhibits and events.
  • Provide superior customer service by responding to inquiries and requests from both internal and external customers.
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3-5 years events experience.

Essential Skills

  • Event planning, management and execution skills are required, including site selection, contracting, budgeting, creative programming and on-site management.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities/projects and meet hard deadlines.

Senior Claims Specialist-Casualty & Auto

CapSpecialty® is seeking an experienced Senior Claims Specialist working out of our office in Middleton, WI, or Glastonbury, CT.

This highly motivated individual will investigate, evaluate and resolve casualty claims and auto claims as assigned. This position also requires the management of vendors (potentially to include TPA oversight), management of costs and overall litigation management as well as representing the Company in connection with claim resolution including settlement conferences and mediations. Prompt communication with various internal and external stakeholders and compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements including fair claims practices is also a responsibility of the Senior Claims Specialist.

The ideal candidate will possess advanced technical knowledge of insurance coverage and policies, insurance law, tort law, and claims handling practices and techniques for casualty and auto lines of business. We are seeking someone with highly refined skills in communicating, negotiating, organizing, analyzing, problem solving, and decision-making. In addition, resiliency, the ability to operate under pressure in high complexity, high risk situations, and the ability to respond rapidly to changing work conditions and expectations is a must. This position requires travel approximately 15% of the time, primarily for mediations.

Successful candidates will have a Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 10 years claims handling experience, or equivalent. Must possess at least one current adjuster license from a requiring state. Juris Doctorate and/or advanced industry certification(s) (e.g. RPLU, CPCU, AIC) is strongly preferred. Claim handling or litigation experience specifically in casualty and commercial auto desired. Previous experience managing TPAs helpful.
